About Me.

I am Adil Iqbal (adilnvm), a Computer Science student and backend-focused developer from Mumbai, passionate about designing secure and scalable systems. My experience includes building full-stack applications using the MERN stack and working on enterprise-level backend projects at Jio Platforms Limited, where I gained hands-on exposure to Calling as a Service (CAAS), Call Masking, and microservices architecture. I also have practical knowledge of Git, Python, Linux, SQL, and Postman, with growing interest in cloud technologies and DevOps.

I enjoy solving real-world problems through clean code and efficient system design. Driven by curiosity and collaboration, I actively participate in technical projects and learnings to apply and expand my skills. My goal is to build reliable backend solutions that enhance user privacy, scalability, and performance in modern applications.

Currently working as a Backend Developer Intern on Jio EVA (Authentication Tool) — an internal authentication and authorization service built using Spring Boot. Contributed to developing secure authentication mechanisms, JWT token handling, and API session management with help of NodeJS.

  • Implemented authentication flows and token validation logic in Java and Spring Boot to secure APIs.
  • Worked on CAAS (Calling as a Service) — understood its architecture and integration model.
  • Explored Call Masking as a Service and privacy-preserving communication design.

Workflow Executor System Architecture

Built a deterministic workflow execution engine for telecom support systems during my internship at Jio Platforms. Unlike traditional chatbots, the system uses an LLM strictly for intent classification and decision routing, while all execution is handled through auditable backend workflows.

Key engineering highlights:
• Slot-based execution gating (asks only required info)
• Persistent ticket lifecycle with rollback safety
• Hybrid storage (Redis + in-memory fallback)
• Deterministic workflows for network, billing, recharge & device issues
• Observability + metrics tracking for system evaluation

Designed as a state-machine driven system prioritizing correctness, reliability, and production safety over generative responses.

MyStore is a full-stack e-commerce platform built with Spring Boot and PostgreSQL on the backend, and React's ViteJS + ChakraUI- v3 on the frontend. It features a complete shopping experience with a product catalog, individual product pages, wishlist, shopping cart, checkout, and user profile pages. Admins can perform full CRUD operations (create, update, delete, manage inventory) via a dedicated dashboard.
